Electric Lawnchair is a collaboration between the Enemy From Space and the mysterious Canard. The pair have worked together over the years in various configurations, such as being to members of the Dada freakout pop punk band Ultraboy in the early 90s. During the late 90s, the two created mangled avant rock forms under the name Newsboy Legion and were hailed by some critics for being idiosyncratic, intelligent, unique and quite strange. Double Platinum takes the Legion aesthetic and sets the controls for the center of the mind in a series of instrumental explorations. In the course of trying to find the sound, the boys discovered it in new, exciting and sometimes disturbing places.
